- PAMA MANUFACTURING AND STERILIZATION -
Welcome to the FIRST STEP
You are going to learn all about PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization. After that, we are hoping that you will feel part of our beautiful team.
Let's start!
Quick history on PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization
Since 2012, PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization is specialized in medical device custom kits. We are located in Mirabel, Quebec.
In 2016, big changes are announced in the company, we built a new building which will be more efficient for PAMA. In this building, we put in place our first sterilization system.
In 2017, our green EO sterilization, which our engineers team created, has been implemented and will only be approved by the MDSAP in 2021. Since then, all of the changes have brought us to the next level.
In a few years from now, you will know PAMA as leader in North America.

OUR CUSTOMERS
Everyone in health care, both in the private sector and in the public sector. So there are doctors, dentists, veterinarians, nurses, surgeons, etc.
Let's learn about our manufacturing side
As you probably know, we are manufacuture medical kits.
There are two things to remember when it comes to PAMA's trays.
1. CUSTOM
All our kits are customizable only. Not every doctor, dentist, or anyone in the medical industry uses the same kit, even if it is for the same procedure.
This is one of the biggest advantages of PAMA.
2. Complete Service
Manufacturing and Sterilization is done under the same roof. A faster turn around time is the fruit of this complete service offered by PAMA.
In addition, it makes us much more price competitive, since we save a lot of costs.
Furthermore, our type of operation is very eco-efficient. We save a lot of trips like trucks, boat and airplanes.
Let's GO with our sterilization side
Our engineer team has revolutionized the ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization.
Here a quick intro about our EO sterilization.
EtO sterilization
Ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO) is a method used since 1930 and today, 50 % of single-use medical devices are sterilized with ethylene oxide.
EtO sterilization is the method having general compatibility with a large number of materials, resins and types of medical instruments that could be fragile.
Some of you may know the scandal in the US related to EtO sterilization. Some environmental agencies only realized in 2019 the inconvenience of EtO released into the ambient air. The emissions of this gas are very carcinogenic for people in contact with the air release during the process. Now, in 2021, the alarm is ringing over the use of ethylene oxide for the sterilization of medical devices.
So here we come with our green EtO system, and the term “green sterilization” takes on its full meaning. Where the industry begins to work on improving the sterilization process, PAMA has already done so. EtO sterilization of PAMA virtually eliminates the presence of ethylene oxide in the air, since we use less EtO gas in our cycle than used in the sterilization industry. Finally, for the entire sterilization process, the batch load release time is less than a day, compared to a week in the industry.
