Let's go and learn about
This training takes about 30 min to realize. You will walk through three steps during this training.
Step 1 - Will make you discover the universe of PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization.
Step 2 - Will give you information related to our hemodialysis kits.
Step 3 - Will test your skills on the informations that you just learned.
After you will past the exam, you will received a PAMA certificate and a 25$ bonus.
- PAMA MANUFACTURING AND STERILIZATION -
Welcome to the FIRST STEP
You are going to learn all about PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization. After that, we are hoping that you will feel part of our beautiful team.
Quick history on PAMA Manufacturing and Sterilization

Let's learn about our manufacturing side
As you probably know, we are making medical kits.
There are two things to remember when it comes to PAMA's trays.
All our kits are customizable only. Not every doctor, dentist, or anyone in the medical industry uses the same kit, even if it is for the same procedure.
This is one of the biggest advantages of PAMA.
2. Complete Service
Manufacturing and Sterilization is done under the same roof. A faster turn around time is the fruit of this complete service offered by PAMA.
In addition, it makes us much more price competitive, since we save a lot of costs.
Furthermore, our type of operation is very eco-efficient. We save a lot of trips like trucks, boat and airplanes.
Let's GO with our sterilization side
Our engineer team has revolutionized the ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization.
Here a quick intro about our EtO sterilization.
Ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO) is a method used since 1930 and today, 50 % of single-use medical devices are sterilized with ethylene oxide.
EtO sterilization is the method having general compatibility with a large number of materials, resins and types of medical instruments that could be fragile.
Some of you may know the scandal in the US related to EtO sterilization. Some environmental agencies only realized in 2019 the inconvenience of EtO released into the ambient air. The emissions of this gas are very carcinogenic for people in contact with the air release during the process. Now, in 2021, the alarm is ringing over the use of ethylene oxide for the sterilization of medical devices.
So here we come with our green EtO system, and the term “green sterilization” takes on its full meaning. Where the industry begins to work on improving the sterilization process, PAMA has already done so. EtO sterilization of PAMA virtually eliminates the presence of ethylene oxide in the air, since we use less EtO gas in our cycle than used in the sterilization industry. Finally, for the entire sterilization process, the batch load release time is less than a day, compared to a week in the industry.

Let's present you our Timeline here at PAMA
It all starts when a rep of Steven fills out the F-28 form and sends it to Josée at PAMA.
Samples request steps
From that moment, the waiting time is 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the size of the project.
Evaluation of the project
Completion of the bill of material
Princing sent to customer
Sterilization of sample if needed
Issuance of part number based on intended use and creation of the bill of Material
Price request/negotiation with supplier
*Based on annual volume
Pricing based on annual volume
If sample requested:
Ordering raw material from supplier
Assembly of sample
Sample sent to customer with their courier account.
We send 2 free samples
Samples approval steps
At this point, the wait time depends on Steven's process.
Sample evaluation by customer
Feedback from customer if the product is approved
Purchasing agreement signature
Manufacturing and sterilization steps
For these last steps, the waiting time is 8 to 12 weeks standard lead time
Licenses requested to Health Canada in case of Class II and labels creation
Purchase order send to Kevin.
Raw materials ordering and received. The production start.
Once the sterilization is complete, the products are shipped to customer based on their instructions.
